Atelier Alcoves specialises in restoring industrial and modernist seating, mainly from the 1950s onwards.

These pieces — often from offices, public spaces or workshops — require a specific approach: preserving their original character while adapting them for modern use.

Structure, padding, foam density, choice of fabric — each stage is carefully considered to ensure a result that’s solid, comfortable and durable, without betraying the spirit of the original design.

Older furniture can also be restored, but the workshop focuses mainly on projects that highlight the simplicity and functionality of 20th-century design.
